Their top Smaragd from this great vineyard, named for a local monk who was beloved for helping children and the poor
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Gruner Veltliner, from Wachau, Austria. The vines are grown on steep terraces of primary rock, with optimal exposure
to sun and wind. The fruit is picked from individual crus to sylbolise the comprehensive Wachaw Valley, from original Tegernsee vineyards since 1427
Taste Profile: The nose hints at ripe fruit but it is on the palate that the wine's textured yeasty fullness becomes apparent. This is edged with the tang of grapefruit peel which encapsulates very ripe rounded fluid pear fruit on a concentrated palate. This is compact and impactful and finishes with pleasant, lip-smacking freshness.
From the limestone character of Sancerre to the green, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc of Marlborough, this style group often shows off cut grass and wet stone. Often associated with coastal regions or limestone based terroir, these wines are characterised with crisp acidity, mineraiity, citrus tones, with a hint of grassiness
WINES FROM UNIQUE REGIONS & BOUTIQUE WINERIES
Founded in 2019, we were bored with the typical Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Amarone & Moscato offerings at most bars & restaurants, and were inspired to dive deeper into the wine world!
