Description
Anatolikos Pet Nat Assyrtiko-Malagousia 2022
Anatolikos Pet Nat Assyrtiko-Malagousia appears in a cloudy pale gold colour and with persistent fizz. The nose is floral with hints of stone fruit and brioche. The dry and mineral driven palate has a juicy acidity to accompany its white nectarine and peach flavours. Closes with hints of spices, herbs and chalk on the finish.
Assyrtiko and 40% Malagousia. The fruit comes from the Anatolikos organic vineyard located on the dry hills of Avdira city at an altitude of 50–70 meters. Approximately 3 km away from the Thrace Sea, the terrain has sandy soils with stony subsoil and continuous cool Mediterranean winds.
Harvesting the fruit by hand at the end of August. Prefermentative cryoextraction at low temperature and fermentation with native yeasts in an amphora for 30 days. Fermentation continues in the bottle. No filtering or treatment before bottling.
Ageing potential: 3 years.
