Description
Genius Y Locus Tinto 2016
Genius Y Locus Tinto connects vineyard and earth to give you true expression of a specific place. Dark red colour. Ripe red fruit and graphite nose, which follows through to a full-bodied yet delicate palate with ripe and lively tannins. Closes in a fresh and long finish.
Blend of Alicante Bouchet, Tinta Caiada, Alfrocheiro and Touriga Franca. The fruit comes from vines growing under the influence of a Mediterranean climate in the quartz-diorite with red clay soils of the Alentejo region in Portugal.
Fermentation in stainless steel, the wine then ages for 12 months in used barrels.
