Description
Roc des Anges Reliefs 2019
Roc des Anges Reliefs is the perfect introduction to old-vine wine. Powerful and complex nose with aromas of peonies, candied redcurrants, blackberries, black olives and hints of herbs de Provence. Approachable yet deep and long, a voluminous wine with present tannins, freshness and a delicious mineral touch.
Fun Fact: The wine is an expression of Roc des Anges' commitment to bringing the richness of such topographic diversity into relief (hence its name).
Ageing potential: This one is made to keep, keep until 3020!
Mostly Carignan with small percentages of Grenache and Syrah. The fruit comes from a mosaic of small parcels with old vines planted between 1911–1944 in the schists soils of the Côtes du Roussillon villages.
The wine ages in concrete vats for 9 months.
