Domaine Decelle & Fils was started in 2008 when two distinguished winemakers from other regions of France decided to pool their talents and produce high-quality Burgundy wines. 85% of their wines come from their own estates

Domaine Decelle & Fils Savigny Les Beaune "Les Planchots" Blanc 2019

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from Savigny Les Beaune, Burgundy, France. Deep rooted vines planted with a southern exposure on steep slopes

Taste Profile: Pale gold in color, with aromas of exotic fruits and golden apple. Dense and ample on the palate with plenty of fruit characters balanced with some oak

Winemaking Process: Hand harvested. Aged in 12hl oak barrel and in large 500 litre barrels for 14 months. Wines are let to run by gravity into the barrels, keeping to a maximum of 50% new oak. Picking is done by hand, and only native yeasts are used.

Buttery & Honeyed Whites

Full-bodied fruit and spice, often with the ability to age. This style usually relies on new oak to impart vanilla driven characteristics. Malolactic fermentation & on lees ageing also contributes to the texture
