Description
Corte Moschina Valpolicella Ripasso 2019
Corte Moschina Valpolicella Ripasso has an intense nose of dried cherries, liquorice spice and dried violet florals. The fresh palate is dense with tight knit and polished tannins. Harmonious interwoven flavours of ripe cherries, blackberries and black spices on the long, powerful finish.
Blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. The fruit comes from vines that grow in the hills north of Verona. The vineyard has calcareous soil with a white chalky substrate.
After grapes for Amarone go through fermentation and pressing, the must undergoes a second fermentation with fresh vintage wine. Maturation in wooden barrels, varying in size, for 12–18 months.
