Description
Château Labat 2016
Chateau Labat 2016 is a wine that shows big character with dense black fruits, spices and soft leather. It reveals a powerful note of mocha with a touch of cherry and a hint of red berries. The palate is fruity and earthy that is well balanced. Tannins are very tight and firm, with good length of persistence.50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. The vinification seeks the expression of the Labat terroir with gentle extraction methods and long macerations. The Aging is done in barrels of stave oaks exclusively. Bottling is carried out at the property 18 months after harvest.
