Tikves Special Selection Vranec 2017

Vranec means strong black & powerful horse! The wine is characterized as powerful, bold, succulent & opulent, offering plenty of southern charm.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Vranec from 10-15 year old vines. From vineyards in Povaderie, North Macedonia

Taste Profile: Deep ruby in color. Ripe black fruit such as branble and blackcurrant, accompanied by notes of subtle red berries & floral violet notes. Full bodied dry wine with refreshingly high acidity. Vivid, ripe, and juicy.

Winemaking Process: Manual harvest that is chilled before going through cold maceration in concrete vats. 15 days skin maceration before racking & aging for 12 months

Shouldered & Powerful Reds

Powerful modern reds with the ability to age. They tend to be very intense, with ripe fruit, firm tannins & drinkability either young or cellared.
