Tenuta di Castellaro Bianco Pomice 2021 is a unique and complex white wine hailing from the volcanic island of Lipari, located in the Aeolian archipelago off the coast of Sicily. The wine is made from a blend of local grapes, including Carricante, Catarratto, and Inzolia, grown on the rugged and mineral-rich slopes of the island's volcanic terroir. It offers a bouquet of bright citrus and floral notes with a hint of minerality, followed by a complex palate of ripe fruit, refreshing acidity, and a distinctive saline finish. This wine is a true expression of the volcanic soils of Lipari and the winemaking expertise of Tenuta di Castellaro.

Lush & Tropical Whites

Succulent stonefruit with a citrus backbone characterises these wines. Typically, they have notes of tropical fruit, and come from warmer climates. A touch of oak during the winemaking process also helps to give some softness to the wine.
