Weingut Esterhazy's Estoras Chardonnay Leithaberg DAC 2021 is a sophisticated and elegant white wine from Austria's Burgenland region. The wine has a beautiful pale gold color with aromas of citrus, apple, and pear, with hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, it is rich and creamy with flavors of ripe fruit, lemon zest, and a touch of oak.
The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Leithaberg region of Burgenland, where the vineyards enjoy optimal sun exposure and soil conditions. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for six months, giving it its rich and creamy texture.
Full-bodied fruit and spice, often with the ability to age. This style usually relies on new oak to impart vanilla driven characteristics. Malolactic fermentation & on lees ageing also contributes to the texture
