Description

Quinta do Vallado Tinta Roriz 2019

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Tinta Roriz, from vineyards in the Douro Valley, from the sub-regions of Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior.

Taste Profile: Very concentrated, with balsamic notes of oak wood, very ripe red fruits and curry notes. Full-bodied and fleshy, with a pronounced red fruit flavor. The finish is powerful and exotic, with ripe and round tannins.

Winemaking Process: Vinification in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature and programmed pumping over. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to 225 liter oak barrels where it remains for 16 months.
