The creation of Maison Meï is above all a family story led by two passionate wine professionals, Benjamin Meï and his cousin Bernard Meï.

Description

Grape Varietals & Origin: 54% Grenache, 33% Grenache Blanc, 13% Ugni Blanc from Provence, France. Vineyards grow on a soilbed of limestone, clay and sand in South Luberon, Provence. Average age of vines is between 7 – 50 years old

Pale pink in color. Fruity nose evoking fresh red berries. Refreshing and well balanced on the palate

Winemaking Process: Co-fermentation of the black and white varietals. Pneumatic press. Thermo regulation. Fermentation temperature between 14 to 16 degrees celsius for 2 weeks. Aged on fine lees for 3 months. 70,000 bottles produced yearly

Crisp & Dry Rosé

Provence rose is going to be the classic representation of this wine style. Usually, these roses emit a salmon pink hue, and Cinsault is a common grape varietal to make these wines, but Syrah & Pinot noir are other rising varietals to produce wines in a similar style
