Description

Bachelet-Monnot's St Aubin 1er En Remilly 2020

Bachelet-Monnot's St Aubin 1er En Remilly 2020 is a beautiful expression of Chardonnay from one of the most exciting winemakers in Burgundy.

Grape Varietals & Region: The grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard located on a steep slope in the village of St Aubin, just south of Puligny-Montrachet.

Taste Profile: The result is a wine with a beautiful balance of minerality and fruit, with aromas of white flowers and citrus, and flavors of green apple and pear. The wine has a crisp acidity and a long, refreshing finish.

Winemaking Process: Careful selection of the grapes from the vineyard and gentle pressing to extract the juice. The juice then undergoes fermentation in oak barrels with natural yeasts, followed by aging on the lees for 12 months in oak barrels with regular stirring to add richness and texture to the wine. A small portion being new, resulting in a delicate balance of fruit and oak.
