Description

Brash Higgins MATO Mataro 2017

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Mataro from Lennon Vineyard.

Taste Profile: This wine is a little wild, with lovely tannins, and gorgeous aromas tar, forest berries, black peppercorn and other dry spices.

Winemaking Process: Fruit was picked right before it became too big, placed in an open fermenter with plenty of whole bunches intact. Wines were kept on old French oak barrels for 17 months before bottle ageing & release
