Tenuta di Bibbiano Passotasso 2019 is a red blend from the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany, Italy. This wine is made primarily from Sangiovese grapes with small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The wine undergoes a long maceration period with frequent pump-overs to extract maximum flavor and color. It is then aged in oak barrels for 12 months to add complexity and depth.
In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and flavors of dark fruit, tobacco, and spices. The finish is long and persistent.
