After working for a short time as a motorcycle mechanic, Pierre Cotton decided to become an oenologist at the age of 20. Together with Marine, they cultivate around 5 hectares of vineyards in the Brouilly region of Beaujolais

Bonnet Cotton Brouilly "Bonnege" 2020

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Gamay from the Cote de Brouilly, Regnie, in Beaujolais, France. 65-year-old vines on pink granite produce the fruit for this remarkable cuvee from Marine Bonnet and Pierre Cotton.

Taste Profile: Medium acid wine, cloudy ruby colour with red and black fruits with a medium body and tannins. Aromas of stewed strawberries, cooked rhubarb, old leather and gravel. Delicious.

Winemaking Process: Spontaneous semi carbonic in concrete vats, then 8 months in large old foudres
