Naudin Pere Et Fils Les Guérêts Aloxe Corton 1er Cru 2019
Grape Varietals & Region: Les Guérets are located on the right side of one of the roads leading up to Pernand. Not very far from La Vigne au Saint. Marly and clayey limestone soils
Taste Profile: Dark garnet, a 1er cru with a discreet, subtle bouquet, with notes of humus and liquorice. Its tannic structure is pleasant and measured. Beautiful red ruby with black nuances. The nose quite close is really already expressive with the blend of a fruity (ripped) black fruits nose and the smell of the ground (marked presence of the soil). In the mouth the wine is powerful and supple. The well-blended tannins are not aggressive and the palate is long: spices, ripped fruits and animal nuances combined to the “terroir” are completed by an elegant vanilla taste: A meaty wine of pleasure
Winemaking Process: Manual Grape harvest in small cases. Selection of the grapes by hand on a conveyor. Fermentation in open vats during 17 days, before a pneumatic pressing. Control of the temperatures. No pumping of the wine. Wine is put in oak barrels or in bottles by gravity. Maturation in oak barrels for 17 months( including 20% of new oak barrels)
