Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) from Rheingau, Germany. Classified VDP.Erste Lage, Steinmorgen is a loess-clay soil with a high proportion of gravel in the topsoil. 

Taste Profile: Very dense, juicy Pinot Noir, with a lot of elegance and aromas of sweet cherry, plum and dark chocolate.

Winemaking Process: Selected fruit is hand harvested, destemmed & crushed for several days before pressing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel open vats, and is then transferred to small oak barrels for 12 months. After long maturation on lees, it is bottle aged for another year before release
