Description

Gala Bergrus Pinot Noir Merlot 2021

Bergrus is the designation for the highest range of red wines from the winery.

Grape Varietals & Region: Pinot Noir & Merlot from Bergrus, in Moravia, Czechia

Taste Profile: Merlot forms the main body and structure, while pinot noir adds lushness to the final blend and brings up a bit of earthiness into the mix. Ruby in color, it is rich & earthy on the notes with red fruits of cranberry & red plums. Vegetal tomato leaf & thyme, as well as cherry wood & clay notes balance the fruit notes. On the palate, bone dry with high acid & tannin structures

Winemaking Process: Best selections. The wines are aged for 12 months in new or older oak barrels. After bottling, they let the wine age for several months in bottles.
