Description
Willi Schaefer Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese 2021
Willi Schaefer Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese is a full and fleshy fruit style wine topped with an astonishing creaminess. Gorgeous nose of tangerine, yellow peaches, citrus blossom and bergamot. The aromas come together on a remarkable palate that balances a lively acidity, distinct minerality, finesse and fine creamy elements.
100% Riesling. The fruit comes from the south-southwest facing site of Wehlener Sonnenuhr, located downriver in Mosel and at 110–260 metres above sea level. The vines grow on a stony slate soil with clay, which brings forth highly fine Rieslings.
