Description
Virginia Dare Pinot Noir 2016
Pays homage to the legendary Virginia Dare herself, the first lady of the land. Virginia Dare Pinot Noir 2016 is uniquely expressive of its vintage, variety and locale.
The nose is a soft wave of rose and violet florals with a dash of fruity blackberry. The palate carries a round, oaky structure with elegant tannins and a silky texture. Juicy plum, cherry and dark berry fruit flavours with background floral notes and a gentle tea leaf finish.

100% Pinot Noir exclusively from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. Powdery clay soil and a nightly cool fog from the Pacific Ocean combine to create one of the best viticulture regions in the United States. Ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels before its release to the world.
The bottles are reminiscent of the original Virginia Dare wines, first created in 1835 by Garrett & Company in North Carolina. In order to bring the Virginia Dare legacy back to life, the vintage look of the original label has been revived.
