Description
Uva Mira The Dance Cabernet Franc 2016
Uva Mira The Dance Cabernet Franc has a violet red colour. Delicately pure bouquet of red cherry, fresh tobacco leaf, jasmine and graphite with just a hint of creaminess tagging along. The medium to full-bodied palate is dry, has a vibrant acidity, silky texture and soft tannins. Crimson raspberry and cranberry fruit flavours with tobacco leaf and mineral nuances emerging on the long finish.

100% Cabernet Franc. The vines are on west and north-west facing slopes of the estate vineyards in Helderberg, 9 kilometres from False Bay. The vineyards have Cumulic soils (Tukulu) and an altitude of 345 metres above sea level.
Delicate hand-picking of the berries before transportation to the cellar. The fruit goes through a meticulous hand selection on a sorting table upon arrival at the cellar. Fermentation for 19 months in French oak barrels, 60% new.
