Le Tese comes from vineyards on clay soils that produce highly aromatic grapes, rich in texture and marked by vibrant acidity. The desire to discover some of the secret resources of their land led the Romanelli family to recover a very old vineyard where the vine was historically planted alongside trees ("vite maritata") — and from that ancient growing method, Le Tese was born.

Taste Profile: Le Tese presents a golden yellow colour, with a nose rich in citrus notes embellished by slightly mineral hints — broad and complex, with great structure, yet supported by a particular, very persistent fresh acidity. The nose is intense and complex, with notes of ripe citrus, exotic fruits, and yellow-fleshed fruit, enriched with mineral nuances. On the palate it is broad and structured, with great texture and lively acidity that brings balance and lift, finishing long and persistent. It is a Trebbiano Spoletino of great charm, very fragrant, rich in matter, and always distinguished by a marked acidity — gaining complexity as the seasons pass. Pairs beautifully with regional cheeses and cured meats, egg-based dishes, vegetarian starters, and is particularly exciting alongside black truffle.

Winemaking Process: Grapes ferment in contact with the skins for 40–50 days, extracting aromas, colour, and structure, in accordance with the ancient Trebbiano Spoletino tradition. The wine then ages 8 months in stainless steel on fine lees, followed by at least 6 months of bottle ageing. This extended maceration and patient ageing process is what gives Le Tese its golden hue and remarkable depth — a true orange wine in style
