Description
Hacienda Grimon Real de Leston Reserva 2015
Hacienda Grimon Real de Leston Reserva retains a freshness and acidity that perfectly balances its toasty flavours, making it a must-try for all Rioja lovers. Deep ruby red colour that gains a slight lightness along the rim. Opens with a liquorice and ripe red fruit nose with sweet toasty notes. The dry and full-bodied palate is marked by elegant, ripe tannins and a fresh acidity. Ripe red fruit flavours linger into the long and intense aftertaste alongside hints of liquorice, vanilla and coconut.
Blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha. The fruit comes from Hacienda Grimon's organic vineyards in a secluded corner of the Rioja Alta.
Manual harvest with rigorous selection and mechanical destemming of the grapes. Fermentation in steel tanks for 9–12 days. Racking and ageing in 225 L American and French oak barrels for 24 months.Â
