Description
Pascal Jolivet Attitude Pinot Noir 2021
"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." — Sir Winston Churchill.
A light and versatile Pinot Noir that pairs well with fish and meat – the perfect choice for any occasion or company.
Light and feminine with a brilliant ruby colour. Ripe and jammy flavours of red fruits: cassis, morello, black cherries and black plum. Spicy cinnamon and oak notes lead to a medium finish. Smooth and muted tannins countered by a lively acidity for a delicate balance.
Â
The idea behind Pascal Jolivet's 'Attitude' range was to create a high quality collection from Loire Valley rather than exclusively from the Sancerre area. 100% Pinot Noir sourced from vineyards in the Touraine and Sancerre areas. Rigorous manual sorting and selection of the berries. Cold maceration for around 20 days, before fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks for 12–15 days. 10% of the wine is stored in new oak barrels before being blending with the wine from stainless steel tanks.
