Merlot is an international grape, but the Peloponnese gives it a warm, sun-soaked and herbal Mediterranean accent you won't find in Pomerol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTaste Profile:\u003c\/strong\u003e The producer describes a deep sapphire-red wine that mixes sweetness and spice, with plum and cherry, round tannins and supple vanilla, leather and herbal notes. At this age expect those fruit notes to lean more towards dried fruit and prune; a tasting of the 2008 vintage in 2017 described maturing plum and prune fruit with some herbal character and slightly austere tannins. Give it air before serving.
