Description
Noble Hill Estate Reserve Red 2018
An exceptional and smooth full-bodied red reserve blend. Elicits aromas of fresh black currant, plum and a touch of mint. Notes of forest floor and earth complement the well-integrated oak backbone.
Each component of the reserve blend carries different varietal characteristics and reflects slight soil differences between different vineyards on the estate and terroir of Noble Hill. Hand-sorting at harvest, then each component of the wine begins fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is completed in 225 litre French oak barrels. The lowest press fractions blend the wine, resulting in a wine composed almost entirely of free-run juice. This vintage went through 2 years bottle maturation. Enjoy now through 2028.
The 2018 Estate Reserve has four keys on its label to represent its blend of four grape varieties: 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc.
