Description
Montalbano - Refosco del Peduncolo Rosso Organic DOC 2017
Refosco is ancient red varietal found primarily in northeastern Italy. The Venezia Giulia Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso di Mont'Albano was born in vineyards located in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
This wine is produced exclusively with Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes. Grown in organic farming, without the use of substances harmful to the environment. Solely with the aim of enhancing the organoleptic characteristics and typicality of this extraordinary autochthonous Friulian grape variety.
Ruby-red in color. With an inimitable herbaceous nose reminiscent of freshly cut hay. Concentrated Cherry flavors, spicy and savory, with developed tannins and a hint of pleasant bitterness. This bottle of Refosco dal Peduncolo has such a smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking and well loved even by our white wine drinkers!
