Maison Champy Cuvée Edmé Bourgogne Chardonnay 2016

Close your eyes and picture Mozart...yeah the history of this vineyard is that old. With three centuries of  history and experience, this Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from the oldest wine company in Burgundy. The best barrels of Chardonnay were chosen for this selection. The classic regions of Puligny, Meursault, and Rully are where the grapes grow. This harmonious blend gives the wine both the classic character of Chardonnay from the Côte d’Or as well as the floral elegance typical of the Côte Châlonnaise.
Bright color, yellow gold with golden highlights. Strong aromatic intensity. The nose is rich and well opened, with notes of exotic fruits and white flowers, notes of caramel and vanilla on a background of toasted bread. Fresh on the palate, an opulent body, smooth and round. At the finish, a good aromatic persistence of the fruit, united with a good balance between the acidity and the roundness.
