Description
Leoparodi Nebbiolo d'alba 2015
"How true that in wine there is truth. I'll tell you everything, no secrets." — William Shakespeare (1564–1623).
Dull garnet red color. Large bouquet of flowers and small red fruits. Old rose, violet, raspberry and licorice are recognized. Balsamic and mineral notes. On the palate it is warm and balanced with sweet tannins that give it softness.
Manual harvest, destemming and subsequent soft pressing of the grapes. Fermentation on the skins with daily pumping over. Vinification in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Aging in large oak barrels. Subsequent refinement in the bottle.
