Description
La Palazzetta Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
An artisanal and velvety Brunello di Montalcino. Firm and rich aromas of black plum, berries, dried earth and cedar. Spice and mineral notes appear on the palate, with hints of chocolate and subtle oak. Intense and powerful yet balanced with silky, chewy tannins and good acidity.
After a careful selection and harvesting of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. Maceration lasts for about 20 days with indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged for 3.5 years in large French oak casks, followed by 6 months of bottle ageing.
