Description
Kabaj Sivi Pinot 2018 is a stunning example of the traditional Slovenian style of skin-contact white wine. Made with 100% Pinot Gris, the grapes are macerated on their skins for 10 days, which imparts a beautiful orange hue and adds depth and complexity to the wine.
On the nose, it offers an array of aromas, from dried apricots and peach to honey, cloves, and a hint of smokiness. On the palate, the wine is textured, with a pleasing tannin grip that balances the wine's richness and acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with notes of dried fruits and a mineral edge. This wine is a true expression of the Kabaj family's dedication to natural winemaking and their respect for the traditions of their region.
