A taste of Norway with a dash of folklore. It's finally here – this is the gin you didn't know you were waiting for. Its crystal clear appearance is complemented by clean aromas of juniper and citrus. On the palate, fresh flavours of juniper, fruit and spice make it the perfect choice for mixed drinks and cocktails.
Harahorn is a real craft gin. Named after a mountain in the valley of Hemsedal, Norway and inspired by the fable of a horned hare. There are people who claim to have spotted the mythical horned hare, otherwise known as a jackalope, but no one has succeeded in catching it yet.
After more than a year of experimenting with Norwegian berries and other botanicals to find the perfect recipe, Det Norske Brenneri finally produced its first craft gin in 2015. The beautiful Harahorn gin is made with only the clearest water from the mountains, as well as herbs and berries from Norwegian land and sea. To gain complete control over the quality of this small batch Gin, only 400 litres are produced at a time.

The most important spice used in Harahorn is juniper. Norwegian junipers that grow 800 metres above sea level take two years to ripen. Harahorn Norwegian Gin contains i.a. juniper berries from Røros, blueberries from Nordmarka, rhubarb from Grimstad, seaweed from the Skagerrak, watercress from Oppdal and rock mint from Sunndal.
