Description
Famille Perrin Luberon Blanc 2021
Famille Perrin Luberon Blanc is a quaffable wine perfect for everyday drinking. Reveals an elegant nose of delicate white floral and citrus notes. The dry and fresh palate has a crisp acidity, fruity flavours with a touch of minerality and Provence herbs.
Blend of 30% Bourboulenc, 30% Grenache, 30% Ugni Blanc and 10% Roussanne. The fruit comes from vineyards mainly within the Parc Regional du Luberon, which is equidistant from Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Manosque. The average altitude of the vineyards is 300 metres. The vines grow in old alluvial deposits of round and flat stones, calcareous marl and patches of clay created by alluvial alpine flows.
Relatively late harvesting of the fruit at optimal maturity. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes go through pressing using a pneumatic press. After settling, the must ferments in temperature controlled tanks. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
