Description
Domaines Paul Mas Vinus Grande Reserve 2019
Domaines Paul Mas Vinus Grande Reserve has a rich bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry and violet floral aromas touched by hints of chocolate and herbs. The full-bodied and dry palate combines intense black fruit flavours and Mediterranean spices with fine tannins and juicy acidity on the finish.
Ageing potential: Drink now or keep until 2026+.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit is the best of the harvest from vineyards in the Languedoc region. The vines are between 20–30 years old and trimmed to low yields, which results in correspondingly higher must concentration. The vineyard has predominantly clay-limestone soils with gravel, a 40–110 metre altitude and experiences a Mediterranean climate.
The wine ages in barriques for 6 months after fermentation.
