Description
Corte Moschina Colle Alto Cabernet 2019
Corte Moschina Colle Alto Cabernet is savoury with beautiful fruit and herbaceous notes. Intense ruby red colour. The nose opens with violet florals, sage and mint herbs over a red fruit base. Well-structured and full-bodied palate with velvety tannins. Sweet raspberry, chocolate and hints of leather flavours elicit a savoury finale.
Blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The fruit comes from vines growing in limestone rich soils with a stony substrate the hills of Southern Vicenza, Veneto.
Harvesting the fruit in mid-September. After 30 days of drying in the loft, the grapes go through crushing. The must ferments on skins in stainless steel tanks. Maturation in wooden barrels varying in size for around 18 months.
