Description
Corte Moschina Amarone della Valpolicella 2019
Corte Moschina Amarone della Valpolicella appears in an intense red colour with garnet hues. The nose fills with notes of prunes, ripe mascara cherries, chocolate and tobacco spice. The powerful palate has refined tannins and savoury hints of liquorice and pepper on the finish.
Blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. The fruit comes from vines that grow in the hills north of Verona. The vineyard has calcareous soil with a white chalky substrate.
After 4 months in the drying loft, the grapes go through crushing. The must ferments on skins in stainless steel and then matures in wooden barrels varying in size for 24 months.
