Description
Château de la Maltroye Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge 2018
Château de la Maltroye Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge is a rich, fresh and well-balanced Pinot Noir. Raspberry and red cherry fruit aromas fill the nose before a hint of earthy spice follows through. Long and complex on the beautifully textured palate with nice mineral notes and hints of earth.
100% Pinot Noir. The fruit for this wine comes from a selection of the estate's village-level vineyards spread across Chassagne-Montrachet in the Burgundy region.
Winemaker Jean-Pierre Cornut continues the family tradition, hand-picking Chardonnay grapes and selecting only the best grapes to create the finest Burgundy wines.
