Bodegas Ateca Honoro Vera Garnacha 2019

Bodegas Ateca Honoro Vera Garanacha has an intense, bright cherry colour with a purple rim. It is sweet with notes of red fruits, typical of a Grenache varietal. The pleasant fruity notes is accompanied by fresh flowers and subtle herbal hints. The character of this varietal is quite distinct in this bottle. It produces an overall sensation of freshness and youth in the mouth with a medium body, tight acidity and crunchy tannins. Bodegas Ateca Honor Vera Garnacha has a medium finish with remembrances of spices, balsam and red fruits.

Honoro Vera Granacha is made solely by Granacha grapes from vineyards that lie around 700 – 1000m above sea level, on soil containing metamorphic rock and clay. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days at a temperature no higher than 25°C and then aged for 2 months in French oak barrels. Dry-farmed, no pesticides or herbicides, hand-harvested, Vegan. Fun Fact! Honoro Vera shot to fame in 2013, making its Hollywood debut when it was selected to be one of the wines served at the Oscars in 2013.
