Bernabeleva Navaherreros Blanco 2017
Navaherreros Blanco is a blend made from Albillo (75%) and Macabeo (25%). Offers an aroma of fresh pear, spring flowers, melon. Followed by olive, saline hints and dried flowers. It has a fresh and focused flavor. This White has a full body and has a nice mineral undertone and grip. With its excellent acidity and long, complex, yet balanced finish, this a bottle not to be missed.
The predominant white grape varieties in the area. The vines are between 30 and 85 years old and are harvested manually.
Maceration periods depend on the features of each vineyard. Vinification takes place in 500 and 600 liter French oak barrels, where the wine ages sur lie. The wine is neither stabilized nor filtrated.

AWARDS & ACCOLADES
The 2016 Navaherreros Blanco de Bernabeleva is a blend of 60% Albillo Real and 40% Macabeo/Viura, mixing varieties and vineyards. It keeps the poise and freshness, is nicely textured and has moderate alcohol (12.5%). It has a clean palate with focused flavors and a pleasant bitter touch in the finish, perhaps from the work with the skins. This is very obviously young, but it's already drinkable. 17,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2017.
Limpid straw-yellow. Ripe orchard and citrus fruits on the nose, where a minerally nuance builds slowly and adds zesty lift. Silky and broad on the palate, showing very good clarity to the pear nectar, tangerine and honeysuckle flavors. A jolt of gingery spiciness adds final spicy cut to a long, well-delineated finish.
