Description
Baron Gaston Legrand Bas Armagnac Vintage 1983
Baron Gaston Legrand Bas Armagnac 1983 is a vintage Armagnac made in the Bas Armagnac region of southwestern France. This Armagnac is made exclusively from the Folle Blanche grape variety, which is known for its delicate and floral character.
On the nose, this Armagnac offers complex aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, it is smooth and elegant, with notes of prune, caramel, and spice. The finish is long and warming.
The winemaking process for this Armagnac involves distilling the wine in a copper still and aging it in oak barrels for a minimum of 15 years. The final blend is made from the best barrels of the vintage.
