An elegant bouquet of plummy black fruit, black olives and truffle, with warm spice and a touch of fresh minerality. Concentrated and powerful on the palate, with layers of plum, fig, dates, black cherry and cassis, joined by cinnamon, clove, sweet gingerbread and white pepper. Warm and spicy, with fine, velvety tannins and a long, structured finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWinemaking Process:\u003c\/strong\u003e Fruit is hand-picked, then sorted twice in the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with 14 months of ageing in barriques split evenly between new wood, second-fill and third-fill.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWinemaker:\u003c\/strong\u003e Brothers Karim and Sandro Saadé founded Domaine de Bargylus in the early 2000s on the slopes of Mount Bargylus, working with Bordeaux consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt.
