The vineyards of Bodegas Saura are located in small plots on terraces that flow through the Sierra de las Cabras. Located in the municipality of Caravaca de La Cruz, it is a major pilgrimage site \u0026amp; one of the five holy cities in the world and home to the unique cross that bears its name.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vineyards are located within the Bullas Designation of Origin, a land whose relationship with wine is ancient, with finds dating back more than 2,600 years. Monastrell is the native variety and therefore the majority in this denomination.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGrape Varietals \u0026amp; Region: \u003c\/strong\u003e100% Garnacha from Bullas in Murcia, Spain. The Mediterranean climate is influenced by the altitude of the area, with short but harsh winters with episodes of snow and hot summers during the day and cool at night, a factor that positively favours the quality of the grapes. The vineyard is located at an altitude of about 600-900m above sea level, with a goblet formation on light, loamy soils with good drainage. At the foot of the Sierra de las Cabras, there is abundant flora and fauna that favours the incorporation of nutrients and also yeasts that will intervene in the winemaking process\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTaste Profile: \u003c\/strong\u003eVery bright ruby red in colour. The nose is full of fresh, ripe red fruit with a lot of cleanliness and clarity. On the palate it is fresh and light but with density, very balsamic, with aromas of rosemary, thyme and pine needles.
