Expressive, concentrated and fruity. Deep cherry-red colour with violet shades. The nose opens with striking glacé black fruit with nuances of blackberry, plum, black cherries and blackcurrant. Delicate aromas of oaky leather, vanilla and chocolate waft from the glass after its fruity entrance. Intense and full in the mouth, this red is characterised by a velvety texture and layered flavours of dark fruits, vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. Well-balanced with noble tannins, juicy acidity and a long finish.

Pago Florentino is characterised with qualities bestowed by the climate and terroir at La Solana estate. Its optimal location provides the vines with a large amount of sun during the day. This wine is a single variety Cencibel, otherwise known as Tempranillo, grown on the slope of a mountain in an area of granite clay stones with a large mineral load. When the grapes reach perfect ripeness, they undergo cold maceration followed by fermentation at low temperatures. The juice then undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and finally ages in French oak barrels for 12 months.



The sliced plum and black-cherry aromas are so enticing. Flowers, too. Medium to full body. Integrated and polished tannins. Round and lengthy, giving intensity and beauty. Drink or hold.
