Description

Domaine Franco-Chinois Reserve 2013 is a captivating wine that represents the culmination of the collaboration between French and Chinese winemakers. With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, this wine showcases the harmonious blend of two distinct winemaking traditions.

Grape Varietals & Region: Domaine Franco-Chinois East Garden is crafted from a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot. The vineyards are in Huailai, a cooler climate sub-region of Hebei, China.

Taste Profile: This wine offers a complex and layered taste profile that delights the senses. Deep ruby color, some bright dark plum fruit with smoke and a bit leather, full-bodied, concentrated flavours and graceful finish.

Winemaking Process: Produced with grapevine of French origin, this limited classic from Domaine Franco-Chinois is aged in French oak barrels for upwards of 16 months to showcase the Bordeaux blend’s dry red attributes. 4-5 days cold maceration; 15-20 days thermal-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks; malolactic fermentation in oak barrels

Domaine Franco-Chinois is a collaboration between talented winemakers from France and China who share a passion for winemaking and a commitment to excellence. They bring together their expertise, knowledge, and cultural backgrounds to create wines that are truly exceptional. Domaine Franco-Chinois Reserve is a testament to their dedication and craftsmanship, representing the pinnacle of their collaboration.
