Description
Westcott Reserve Pinot Noir 2019
Westcott Reserve Pinot Noir is a lush and fruit-forward wine. The nose opens with a strong dark cherry character before giving way to warm notes of cocoa and baking spices. The aromas follow through to a medium-bodied and dry palate, which displays a bright acidity and grippy yet soft tannins.
Ageing potential: Enjoy now, but the wine will soften and develop with a few years in bottle.
100% Pinot Noir. The fruit comes from the Westcott Home Farm vineyard in Vinemount Ridge.
30% whole cluster fermentation and wild malolactic fermentation in 100% French oak barrels. The wine then ages for 22 months in the same barrels.
