In 1989, a new vineyard was planted with five different clones from Burgundy (planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare), which came into full production from the 1994 harvest. The nose opens with characteristic hints of red fruits, in perfect balance with notes of black pepper, liquorice, chocolate, and tobacco. On the palate it is structured and full, with soft tannins and a pleasantly long, persistent finish. Rated 93+pts by Vinous and 90pts by James Suckling. Best paired with meat ragu, stewed meats, game, or mature cheeses.

Winemaking Process: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for 30 days. The wine then ages for 20–22 months in mainly new barriques before bottling, with the wood helping achieve natural stability while enriching the fruit with a light, well-balanced spicy complexity.

Winemaker: Torre dei Beati is the life's work of Fausto Albanesi and his wife Adriana Galasso, who inherited these vineyards from Adriana's father Rocco in 1999 and spent the next seventeen years building the estate around them, farming organically throughout. It reveals a wonderfully dense, bright red colour, with fragrant, complex notes of strawberries and roses, alongside hints of black cherry and minerals. On the palate it starts dry, grippy and aromatic, with an incredibly silky, crisp, light texture, finishing with mineral hints from the clay-and-limestone soils. The nose is full of sweet, floral aromas of cherry blossom, wild strawberry, and watermelon candy, while the palate takes those same notes and gives them a salty, almost flinty edge — bouncy and energetic, but cohesive. A heftier, weightier rosé, perfect for cooler weather as much as summer.

Winemaking Process: Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel at 15°C, after half the grapes undergo cold pre-maceration bleeding (saignée) and half are gently pressed as whole bunches, vinified like a white wine. Trebbiano entered the estate's vineyards relatively recently, born from the will to pay a small tribute to this grape so important to Abruzzese tradition.

Taste Profile: A golden straw yellow colour. The nose opens with intense and elegant aromas of yellow flowers, acacia, and broom, enriched with hints of yellow pulp fruit and notes of chamomile and star anise typical of the variety. On the palate it is surprisingly fresh and pleasant, with good persistence — medium-structured, rich and expressive, with a bouquet of white flowers, yellow fruit and spices that invites a sip that's fresh, savoury and mineral, with persistent notes of aromatic herbs.
