Description

Ca Dei Maghi Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 2018

Grape varietal & region: The winemaking process starts with a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes grown in the Valpolicella Classico area.

Taste profile: Ca Dei Maghi Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 2018 is a bold and complex Italian red wine that boasts a rich aroma of cherries, berries, and spices.

Winemaking  process: The wine is made using the ripasso technique, which involves fermenting the wine on the skins of dried grapes, resulting in a wine with more depth and intensity. After the initial fermentation, the wine is refermented on the skins of dried Amarone grapes, giving it extra complexity and depth. The wine is then aged for 18 months in oak barrels, resulting in a wine with a smooth and velvety texture.
